  > 247Candle is a free online platform where anyone can light a virtual candle - for a wish, a prayer,
  a person they love - or create an online memorial for someone who has passed away. No account
  required. Available in English, Spanish, and Dutch.

  247Candle offers two things: a candle for wishes, prayers, or intentions, and an online memorial for
  someone who has died. Candles can be lit anonymously. The platform is quiet, respectful, and free to
  use.

  ## Create an Online Memorial (for someone who has passed away)

  Steps on that page:
  1. Choose a theme
  2. Enter the name of the person who passed away
  3. Add their date of birth
  4. Add their date of passing
  5. Optionally add a message, photo, or memory
  6. Create the memorial

  The memorial page can be shared with family and friends and revisited at any time.
  
  If the user is not logged in, they can add their email address so the memorial                      
  can be linked to their account after creation, if they wish.

  Creating a free account unlocks additional features. To sign up:
